Nothing real bad happened today, I certainly didn't have to deal with that dork of a customer today. But still had a small series of unfortunate events. It was just things like...my boss Ogawa-san was trying to open a small tube of superglue...you know, where you have to break a seal? So he grabbed my pen. It was part of a set I bought because they were pastel and pearlescent...NOBODY in an auto plant is going to gank that pen and use it for their own. So much for that theory! So he used it to break the seal and when I picked it up I realized that he glued my pen open! I can't click it off anymore. And then I realized there was glue on the pen still and now I had superglue on me. Luckily I once again managed not to glue myself to anything before I could get it off.

The rest of the day pretty much went like that and ended up with me working late on the assembly line.

But in better news I decided to go ahead and register for the Foreign Service Officer exam. I really don't expect anything to come of it, but what the hell, right?

I think yesterday was a bad day for everyone. It certainly was a bad day for me, and judging by the massive amount of tube failures on the way in to work, it didn't start right for about 7 million other Londoners either.

To get your pen back, use nail polish remover -- I would carefully apply it to the tip of the pen, but not get the remover on the barrel. I HATE losing a favorite pen, so I hope that works to fix it!
