So! Boston! Frankly the first day I was in Boston was pretty miserable (other than any time spent with Twig, Flidget or Eramundo. Those rocked consistently.) But Tuesday was frankly a deluge. Thank god Twig lent me an umbrella, but even then I was wetter than I have ever been outside of rainy season in Japan or swimming. My knit socks felted on my feet! (combination of wet and agitation from walking)
I thought the lonely planet guide for my smartphone would show me around, but it sucked. The google maps for my phone were better, but not as good as a GPS, which was in my car back in Ohio. So mostly I wandered around Harvard square wet and cold until Twig was off of work.
Wednesday on however, was much better. Not a drop of rain, lovely skies, and I managed to find everything I needed to. I went down to Boston Commons, found a tour bus and took a lovely tour through the city. I won a wooden nickle for knowing about John Adams.
Then I got off at the Aquarium where I spent a few hours and got a few decent pictures like this Leafy Sea Dragon. Then Twig and I went to a fantastic dinner and bought awesome cannoli and watched 'The Princess and the Frog'
*whew!*
Anyway, there are more pictures of Boston and the Aquarium on my Flickr stream. Please enjoy!
