Random things from Anime Boston

Sunday we went to the last of the writing panels,as we'd tried to go to as many as possible, both to see what we were up against and hey, maybe someone had something to say we never thought of! (they didn't) But the most amazing thing happened. The panelists opened up discussion about how to write an effective original character, and keep them from turning into a Mary Sue to the floor. The first person to raise their hand said, 'Well in the panel I went to last night they said...' and then proceeded to quote twigcollins almost word for word. Pretty amazing feeling.
