I work in the deep backwaters of Ohio. And I am surrounded daily by very nice rednecks. But no matter how nice they are, I'm still not interested in hunting, fishing, or NASCAR. I'm just not.

Luckily for me I've been adopted by the young hot-shot engineers who would rather commute an hour and a half to work than live near our job. And sometimes we go out to lunch. And they have gotten me to break down and join Facebook.

... it seems like everyone's getting a Facebook these days. @_@ Even people who won't touch LJ are getting them.

Starting to wonder if I should get one as well.

I think it's mostly the mainstream, people who don't even know LJ exists that are doing it.
