Ok, so last night I went with my friend Chris, his boyfriend, Jason...another guy on the arc welding line and his Japanese wife to Masque, a pretty cool gay club downtown. We had so much fun!! We were a little worried because there was supposed to be a lot of snow, but it didn't turn out to be bad at all. 10:30 started with a drag show... which basically had me thinking two things. 1. How can they even WALK in those shoes!?!? and 2. They may be able to walk in them, but my shoes were cuter.

Which is so true. Because in order to go out I bought a new pair of shoes. THESE shoes. And they were only $14!! I'm usually not such a girl over shoes, but these are the most beautiful pair of shoes, and they fit!! At the club I had a stranger comment on how pretty they were...to which I replied, "AREN'T they!?" Such a geek.

So my Saturday went much better than my poor Mom's. She lost her internet, spent hours on tech support, finally got her internet back and not five minutes later, lost power. And then she got herself locked out, and had to break back into the house. What a day!!

Drag shows are so much fun. I really, really wanted to make our production of Wizard of Oz a drag show, but alas...private prep schools in the south don't really go for that sort of thing.

It wasn't a particularly good drag show, what with here being Dayton, and Ohio in general just not being any sort of mecca for drag or anything in the first place. But it was still a lot of fun.

And...the Wizard of Oz would totally work as a drag show. I mean, hello? Dorothy?
