Well, I finally heard back from Raytheon about the position I interviewed for. They decided to go with someone with more Business Translation experience. T_T There's a slight silver lining to this, though. From what I understand from the guy I talked to, they still really liked me, and since the team will get bigger, they want to see if they can't fit me in in some other capacity, or like as a second translator. But I don't think it's really likely.

*sigh*

Back to the drawing board.

You should have gotten it, but even though you didn't, keep the lines open. Don't forget to write a thank-you letter to the people who interviewed you there. It's one step further to getting the next position they have open that you would like. Companies remember folks who play smart and polite.

Job hunting is a real pain in the arse. I wish you a wonderful job as a reward for the pain! (If I got one, anyone can! ^_^)
