I got a Husqvarna-Viking Emerald 116. It was on sale for St. Patrick's Day. Everything in the shop that was on sale had some kind of St. Patrick's themed discount. Like, the + $1000 machines were discounted by $317. Mine had a discount of $50 which brought it to $300. The lady thought it was very weird that this was the only machine that didn't get a 'themed' discount.
It wasn't till after I left the shop that I realized it was because *after tax* it came to $317 exactly.
Today after work I went to a shop near me and picked up a rotary cutter, cutting mat and big-ass plastic ruler. I think my spending is done for QUITE awhile now.
Oh! completely unrelated, but I think you'll get a kick out of my "cosplay" gloves. I just finished the right hand, and need to start the left. They're not actual cosplay, but they sure look like they ought to be from Square. http://www.flickr.com/photos/darjeelingtea/6819132120/in/photostream
