I will get around to blogging about Avatar, Sherlock Holmes and the roller coaster that was 2009. But first....knitting!!

Made these for mom so she can keep her fingers warm while she surfs the net. Very easy and quick, and the yarn is incredibly soft.

It's a Merino Wool / Kid Mohair mix, so yeah, suuuuper soft. Felt good to knit with, and mom assures me that they are comfy to wear. I did have to block them though, they were a little tight to start with.

I've got another ball if you want a pair =:3

They're Axel Mitts (http://www.bluegarter.org/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/Axel%20fingerless%20mitts.pdf) But I thought they knit up a little tight. They were ok after blocking though.

Thank you!! I used Rowan Cocoon. It was a little pricey, but it was a present for Mom, so... Really nice stuff though, and she likes them, so it was all worth it.
