I'm already starting to collect fic where he becomes a good captain and leader through what I think of as 'Sailor Moon Leadership' and slowly builds this team of amazing people who are all very loyal to each other through his Stupid-But-Loveable-And-Somehow-Still-Brilliant skillz.
I am amassing huge numbers of bookmarks of gen fic like this, only to be rivalled by the impressive quantity of Kirk/McCoy. I just flail happily every time I check my flist, and it's been a long time since I've dabbled in a fandom that produces such amounts of squee from me.
