Penny Arcade was making a big do to about the Van Helsing trailer. And since I don't know anything about what's happening in American movies anymore, I hadn't heard about it. Curious I clicked on the link. I don't know what Tycho's on, because it looks like Leauge of Extrordinary Gentlemen all over again. Wait, he's fighting ALL the monsters? And I'm annoyed with the part where they say Frankenstein. Frankenstein was the doctor, not the monster.

On the other hand, it's HUGH JACKMAN. And he has an extremely sexy hat.

I will hold my judgement.

It's one of those movies, sorta like Attack of the Clones, where I hope against hope the director eventually had a mental breakdown and threw in a song and dance number.

My comment may be a net.perspective thing.

Until the Teeming Masses hit the 'net, there was only so much published slash online via Usenet, and was mainly Trek, Star Wars, The Wonder Years, that sort of thing.

Now, if anyone with a particular kink/bent/fantasy is online, you know there's gonna be a story about it.

Guess I should have thought about it more.

finally watched the trailer. it looks exactly like league of extrordinary gentlemen. Except no cute unnecessary Tom Sawyer.

Tycho also got a boner for 'Advent Children,' so while I respect him as a writer, an artist and a man... he's got shit for pre-movie crap detection.
