Bad Premonitions

I have a vague feeling that today will not go well. So far it really hasn't proven to be that bad. The customer from hell of last week (and boy is that a story I should have LJed) hasn't reared its ugly head yet. Really, the only thing to back me up on this is that I burned my arm on a hot part when I was checking the weld. It's not even a bad burn.

Tomorrow I'm off to Kentucky with some people from work to do a day trip to one of our customers to learn about their manual, and then tag along to another customer for a sales meeting. I'm a little nervous since I'm going with my boss, two other Japanese guys and one American guy (also speaks some Japanese). And one of the guys is a bit odd. Well, more than a bit. And tomorrow's his birthday. It'll be interesting. So I bought FF 1&2 for the gameboy, should keep me busy and out of any conversations.

I finally got a Starbucks Chantico on Saturday. I've been meaning to for awhile since it's basically the kind of chocolate they drink in 'In for a Penny.' OMG so good. Makes me almost wish that there actually was a Starbucks in my neck of the woods. Thankfully it's a half hour away, so I won't run out and get another. Instead I see grocery buying, laundry and cleaning in my future for tonight. Fun fun silly willy.

I hate being grown up.

Yes, but if you were a little kid, your mom would NOT be buying you a coffeelike thingie, now would she? Instead, you can IGNORE COMMON SENSE AND BUY ONE WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT. Mwahahaha!

...after you buy the groceries. After all, that ice-cream in the freezer has to get there somehow, doesn't it?

just cuz' you're grown up doesn't mean you can't be lax sometimes... besides the grocery store is full of all sorts of evil things the kid in you wants to buy^_-
