kaitouWork continues to pretty much suck. I'm thiiis close to driving down to Alabama and having a 'word' with this customer. I've seen enough CSI to know how to get away with it. He's extremely condesending, and likes to handle everything over the phone so that we have no proof he agreed to anything. He's already made me redo three reports because he changed his mind what format he wanted them in, and insists we owe him a report on something he agreed to drop in return for us doing his company a favor.
So my boss wrote an e-mail to him and HIS boss saying that all business had to be done through e-mail so there 'wouldn't be any more misunderstandings.' So the guy calls me today and nitpicks about the repors all over again. Out of four he's accepted one. I asked him if he would mind writing it down in an e-mail and sending it to me. "What, aren't you taking notes?" (me: breathes fire) But I was very polite and said that I wanted to make sure I didn't misrepresent him to my bosses. Grr. I said some not very polite things after I hung up and the guys in QC laughed and said I'd finally become one of them. Silly boys didn't think I knew how to swear.
Sorry, trying to calm down. I've been trying not to go out and spend money, but I may need some cathartic shopping. Or maybe just more 'Winter Sonata.' which deserves a post of its own.
