Goodbye Mr. Chips and Salsa.

This is a week of lasts, and I can't even really believe it yet. Definately hasn't sunk in. Had my last class with first and second graders from two schools this week. We've still got the big "Goodbye Classes" coming up, but the elementary kids have suddenly gotten really clingy. Makes me feel like a heel. I'm going to miss them so much!

At the JHS I printed out about 80 of the pictures I've taken over the past two years and stuck them all up on the English board. Big success. Had about 6 students actually late for class because they were looking at the picture wall. Should not have been as smug about that as I was, seeing as it was my class they were late for, but I couldn't help it. Of course, not everyone is happy, and at least two girls have begged me to take down pictures of them from two years ago. Ha. I just stuck on extra tape to make sure they were secure.

Can't believe I'll be home in about a month and a half.

We're still looking for a fifth for the house. Rent plus bills plus food staples would be about 340. Come find a job in the land of no jobs! We can go to community college together and be snarky to everyone else and get drunk at the Temple Club and generally waste our precious fleeting youth.
