Wibbly Wobbly Decision Making

Ok, so guys, I need your help deciding something here, because I'm being as indecisive as I ever am. I've finally hit the point where it's time to switch to Blu Ray. I didn't want to do it because I have my nice region-free DVD player to watch Odoru Daisousasen on. But the industry has stopped putting extras on DVD's and I love commentary and making of specials and all that good stuff.

So I looked at Blu Ray players, and then I thought 'well, if I'm gonna get a blu ray player, I might as well get one that plays games, get a PS3.'

But today I thought to myself...there's really not a whole lot I want to play for the PS3. I mean, everything twigcollins showed me was reaaaaaally pretty. But there's no game currently that makes me want it desperately. (there are a few I wouldn't mind playing surely, but nothing that I yearn for) So should I spend an extra $150 to have the option to play games? Or should I save the money and use it to start up a little library of the Blu Ray discs that I want?

I would vote for the PS3 - I would say that Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 are both fantastic amounts of fun, and the next team ICO game is going to be PS3 only, and was one of my main reasons for getting the system. I can report no issues with mine, and I've had it for two years or so at this point.
