It's your birthday today, yes it is (yes it is!)

So I had a fantastic weekend. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! I had Good Friday off this year so I went up to visit my parents Friday and did some shopping. I got some pretty teal yarn for a shawl, and some cotton yarn that I used to make a Dalek Washcloth (I will have pictures soon, it turned out great.), and some books, including a new bento recipe one.

Saturday I went up to visit altodescant who I went to High School and college with. It was great to see him again, and to meet his fabulous wife roseinmist and his adorable son "Mister Sir." I hope I can visit them again soon, I had such a great time.

Sunday I visited the archery club my parents go to. Mom's been taking boxes of old bowling and baseball trophies and turning them into archery trophies for an upcoming tournament. Mom's got a vicious looking new bow that looks like a bat'leth. I'm so proud of her and her new hobby. Between that, the Wii Fit and watching what she eats she's lost 56 pounds! After the archery club we headed over to Ikea where I bought some bookcases and other odds and ends and drove back to Ohio. Roxy tried to help me put the bookcases together by sitting on the instructions and trying to eat the bolts.
