(no subject)

I was so exited the other day because I got an e-mail from one of my old students in Japan. It was pretty simple, just a "Hi, it's me! Write back if you get this" kind of e-mail. But it was so good to hear from one of them, so I wrote back, asking about high school, how everyone else was, ect.

She wrote back today and said, "Well, a lot of things happened, and I quit High School (>_<) But everyone else is fine and doing their best." She was never one of my best students, and I know a few students never even went to High School, but this really depresses me.
