Table the Motion

Yay! I have a table! My dad's been in and out of town a lot this week. He's got a job in Southern Indiana, and the drive all the way back up to Detroit is a killer, so he's been stopping by my place on his way back and forth. And, lucky for me, he's been trying out his new woodworking skills. I admit to being skeptical before. You can't blame me, I remember the playhouse he decided to build me when I was 7 and how well THAT went. But the table is nice. It butts up against my computer desk and finally gives me a place to do some crafts. I haven't had that since high school. It'll be nice to get back into some actual art again.

I haven't been online a lot lately, and it's all Luny's fault for sending me disks of the Gokusen dorama. OMG, such love! She already treated me to a marathon showing of the anime when I was in Boston for an interview, and I like the Dorama just as much. Yankumi is my hero. And...I'm not sure if this makes me ecchi or not, but boy the kid that plays Shin is hawt. Hot like suns are hot. It's almost a shame that the dorama doesn't have the same Yankumi/Shin vibe like the anime does.
