To get to the other side

So there was a chicken in the parking lot this morning when I got to work.

I tried to get a picture on my cell phone, but it ducked (ha) under the bed of a truck and I couldn't.

....I have a feeling that today is going to be a weird day.

I have had a workplace chicken encounter, as well. The boarding school where I taught was right in the middle of the barrio, where there were always lots of chickens running around. One of them found its way on campus and chased the girls around the quad until some of the more daring boys caught it, stuffed it in a duffel bag, and left it in the common room of the girls' dorm.

Was that ever a mess.
