kaitouI really, really hate late night phone calls. You know, the ones that come in at 1:00 in the morning, but are fortunately not emergencies but some frat boy's drunken misdial. But my heart always goes straight to my throat and I can't calm down for forever after one.
So last night I woke up in a panic, hearing the phone ring. Except...I haven't connected a phone here. And my cell phone plays Linus & Lucy from Peanuts. So it was just a dream.
What kind of stupid nightmare is a ringing phone? C'mon subconscious, you've got to get with it.
