Vending Machines are Very Important
Dec. 5th, 2007 01:28 pmEvery year during Nano I accept certain things. I know that I will not eat healthy, in fact, I will barely eat at home. I know that I'll have no impulse control when it comes to 'research books.' And I know that I'll overboard on caffeine.
This year I went and got myself addicted to Red Bull. They carry it in the vending machine at work. And...it actually works, at least for me, and I don't even seem to crash afterward. But the problem is that EVERYONE likes Red Bull at work. So now that it's afternoon and I'm crashing faster than a propellerless plane, there is no Red Bull. Instead I got 'Monster.' And of course it's the Lo-Carb version, so it tastes NASTY.
I cry! Whyfore no Red Bull? And why does every last chocolaty snack in the vending machine have to have peanuts/peanut butter in it? Seriously, they have Pay Day, Snickers, Zagnut, Reese's Pieces, Peanut Butter Cookies, and Reese's Fast Break. I like peanut butter and chocolate, but dude, I just want the chocolate!
I would write more, but I think I'm going to hide under my desk and take a nap instead.
