An Ode To Twig...
A sense of kinship felt before meeting
From meeting fast into inseperation
together as we were breakfast eating
And as for finals made preparation...

twigcollins is one of my very best friends ever and I need to express the awesomeness. I generally don't believe in fate, but in this case I have to make an exception. When I moved into the dorm in college I didn't end up in the room I was supposed to. Which is how I ended up rooming with the equally fantastic exgentlemen. But if I had been where I was supposed to be, I would have been on the same floor as Twig. And through Exgentlemen I found out about the anime club, which is how we met Twig. But even before actually talking to her, I remember seeing her in the cafeteria sometimes and how I thought to myself, "she seems like my kind of people" and if I'd been just a little braver I would have gone to say 'hi.'
And it's weird, I remember vividly how we first met, but then I can't remember at all how we went from that to Twig practically living in our dorm and the three of us becoming Borg-like. Twig re-introduced me to video games, renting a PS1 and a copy of FF8 while we dog sat for her parents. (a week later we had our OWN PS1 and copy of FF8). We went in together on a copy of Photoshop which I immediately used to draw fanart for 'Courdoroy Rose' and 'Knights and Pawns.' In fact, I still have original drafts of those on disk. (MWA HA HA) Twig also introduced me to Chicken and Dumpling soup, and some of the best music.
What it all boils down to is that Twig has had a big impact on me, and a great friend for...what, 9 years now? I'm grateful to have her for a friend, and I hope this year is full of all kinds of rocking, and no kinds of sucking.

9 years. Good lord. I can't possibly be this old, I don't know anything yet.
