And a Leaf turns you into a Tanuki
Feb. 9th, 2006 08:07 amMy boss's video game references continue. Seriously, I think they hired me becuase I can actually keep up with these kind of references. When I was interviewed they said, "Do you mind being out on the scene?" and then said, "wait, do you know the word 'scene?'"
I replied, "Yes, I learned it from the TV show 'Odoru Daisousassen.'"
To which Ogawa said, "Oh yeah, 'Muroi-san, why is there blood at the scene!?'" Which was the catch phrase from the 1st Odoru movie.
....I really think this is why they hired me. But I digress. Here is today's conversation.
Kevin: Can you make Nishikawa stop running parts without checking them first? These are bad!
Ogawa: No, I can't do anything.
Kevin: Can't you tell him anything?
Ogawa: Do you know Super Mario?
Kevin: Wha?
Ogawa: Nishikawa-san has the star. The only way to stop him is if he falls off a cliff.
I love my boss.
