Real Review

kaitouOk, now that I'm awake and not half dead, I'll try and write a real review of King Kong. Peter Jackson, I'm so impressed. I mean, this is really like he and Joss Whedon make...God and Jesus or something. They're like THIS (crosses fingers to show how close)for respect. Joss does all the original stuff, and Peter makes the remake that is everything you could ever want in your geeky little heart.
Things I loved about the movie that are not spoilers:
1. OMG Action Action Action!
2. Expressive eyes. CG and real. Some beautiful moments without dialogue.
3. Jack Black.
4. The effects, naturally. It was only after the movie that I rememeberd that that cityscape does not exist and that there WAS no monkey.
5. The first mate.
6. Ann is HARDCORE. All your base really belong to her.
So basically what I want to say is that King Kong was everything a good action movie should be. And then some.
