Busy busy week.  I never did play more of Final Fantasy on the business trip.  But it was kind of interesting nonetheless.  On the way down to Kentucky I mostly slept.  The combination of car ride and my boss talking on the cellphone in Japanese about machine maintenance put me out like the 2003 Blackout of the US East Coast.  ZZZZ, indeed.  Apparently I even slept through a different conversation that I was supposed to translate.  I don't know why he didn't just wake me, I'm not that deep a sleeper.

Then we finally got down to the Lexington area and stopped for lunch at a Japanese resturaunt the guys knew.  They were really eager to go there, and stopped even though we were really tight on time.  Lo and Behold, it turns out to be the same place I stopped to eat when I had an interview in Lexington back last fall.  I've only been to Kentucky once before in my life, and I ate at the exact same place!

The meeting was very boring and it was hard to stay awake.  They gave everyone a copy of the manual and just went over each section in it.  I excused myself when they were discussing color and seat fabric (we don't make anything that applies to that) to go splash water on my face.  Then after we just turned around and headed back to Ohio, and got back juuuust at 8:00

Now today my Dad is stopping by, I hope I can have the apartment somewhat decent by the time he gets here, but I pretty much despair of doing any laundry.  Especially since I have to stay late for a few meetings today.  Then Friday we've got the inventory check.  Yuuug.  I think I'm going to use some Flextime and take two hours off tomorrow to have breakfast with Dad.
