kaitouI swore that I wasn't going to just post things about my job hunt and broken computers. But not that much else has happened lately. Mom's off to visit the rest of the family for a week. I spent last night putting little stamps on gift cards (ok, so they were post it notes) for the stuff I bought for my cousins and aunts and grandmothers.
My parents keep sending me jobs they find on websites for me to apply to. Which is a refreshing change from the weird things Mom used to send me. But it kind of makes you wonder, just what they actually see when they look at you. Dad's really keen on me getting a government job, which I don't have a problem with. But I do wonder why he keeps sending me applications that say things like, "applicant must be strong in economics, statistics and accounting." ...I don't even remember my 9 times table anymore.
Things are going decently though. Boston looks like it may be out of the picture for now. But I talked to a couple of headhunting places today and yesterday so there may be something here in Michigan.
I so totally need the Sims2.
