Dang. I had a post when I sat down, I swear I did. Things to say and everything. Well, I should start out by saying I'll be incommunicado for the next week thereabouts. My old friend from High School is coming up for a visit and bringing her boyfriend. I hope it all goes well. I've never met him, or traveled with her. I think it'll be ok. She's done study-abroads in France before, so she should be cool with being in a foreign land. And I really can't wait to talk to her again. Wish me luck!

Flidget, there's no need to worry about Cael. The story decided to get over it's funk and is letting me proceed as long as I agree to be appropriately angsty. Yeesh. Can't wait to revise all of it. Am still trying to work out the way the world works though. The current method of "this country is Switzerland and this country is Germany.....but with a magic dagger!" just does not cut it in my brain. Wish I could rob from myself and use the world I made for Shayne. I love the way magic works there.

I've started joining different communities to post the icons I'm making. It's fun and I hope I'm getting better. I'm still not into some of the weird colors and high-falutin' brushes a lot of people are using, but I can kind of see the skill involved. I've been buying a lot of movie brochure thingies at the used bookstore in Hiroshima, so I should soon have icons from things like I.Q. and Maverick. Hee hee!
