kaitouGot my hair cut finally. Let it grow out for far far too long. I have no bangs now, which is weird, I've always had bangs. And now I don't. Love the beauty parlor here, wish I could take them home with me, everyone there is so nice. The main hairstylist keeps asking me to bring in my vacation photos and when I'm going to settle down with a nice Japanese man. And the assistant girls slip me candy when I leave. Getting your hair cut in Japan is kind of a luxurious business anyway. Kind of weird. Like when they shampoo your hair they put a little scented cloth over your face so that there's no danger of....you getting wet I suppose, I'm not sure.
Had a wonderful Golden Week thanks to Melf, who made me watch Labyrinth and Starsky and Hutch and Highlander episodes featuring Methos. I returned the favor by making her play DDR, and the Taiko drum game and renting a DVD of Stargate SG-1 episodes. (It's my current sad obsession and I can't seem to help it.)
Let's see, what else happened lately? I met all the new 1st graders at Higashi Sendo Elementary and DAMN they are cute. Like buttons. Like cute happy buttons that squeak, "Ann-sensei, I'm so glad I met you!" and then hug you. I have the best job EVAR.
