State of the Ann

1. I gave in and got a powered toothbrush. Not the big expensive ones, but the battery powered knockoff type. We'll see how it is, and then I'll see whether to upgrade to srs dental technology.
I absolutely didn't buy the particular brand I did because it said sonic on it. Nope, not at all.
2. My car is in the shop. It was making a funny noise. I thought it was the fan, they said I must have hit something, like a curb, at some point, and it bent some brackets and shoved the radiator slightly out of place, and that's what's making the noise. He said the rim of my wheel is also bent for the same reason, resulting in a very slow leak in my tire. I'm inclined to believe him, because that tire IS always low, and needs filling more than the others. (This would also mean that I did this months and months and months ago because I don't remember hitting a curb recently, and the tire's been a problem for awhile. I just might never have noticed it because I would have had the radio on. I also think the extreme heat this summer has been a contributing factor, it didn't make noise coming into work when it's cooler)
They're going to try and bang it all into place today, and hopefully I won't need new parts, so keep your fingers crossed for me. And if the wheel needs replacing, according to google that costs about the same as the fan I was budgeting for anyway. Hopefully it won't be any worse than that. Cross your fingers for me. I have plans this weekend I would like a car for.
3. Finished a washcloth that was giving me grief. Thank goodness. Looks pretty good and I will post pictures of it later. Started another washcloth and abandoned it. Pretty fabric, but I'm not doing it on size 0 needles. I'm still working on people's stories that they requested, but it's imperative that I finish these washcloths before my Japanese coworker's sister gets here (they are presents for her).
4. Fruit flies are all gone. Apple vinegar worked better than anything commercial. 2 days and they were GONE. BAM! It was beautiful.
