Random Things

• Nano...is not going well. I got my wordcount done on Monday, but I have gotten less than 500 words done since. Apparently having nowhere to go is a bigger problem than I thought it would be. I tried staying home and working Tuesday and crashed and burned. Yesterday I had to work late, so I decided to try and go to a coffee shop I've never been to that's about 30 min away. But my phone GPS wouldn't work. I kept trying to troubleshoot it, and bu the time I gave up it just felt too late to go anywhere.
  
  I'm just not feeling good about it this year. I think I'm going to switch my goal to finishing a multi-chapter fanfic, something I haven't done in ages and ages. Just all feels a bit more pointless than usual.

• I had a meeting yesterday with a Japanese man who spoke entirely in Fangirl Japanese. Goes to show what I know.

• Bill Bryson's new book 'At Home' is very very good. Maybe my favorite book he's ever written, and that's really saying something. I highly suggest it. It's a book all about the history of the rooms of your house, and the everyday things you find in it.

• I know a lot of you have food allergies. This might be a good resource.
