I LIVE!
Before I started my new job my dad told me that companies are so good at wooing you and making you want to work there. But that when you actually get there, they totally abandon you, right when you're the most eager to get stuff done.
Dad was right. Now, don't get me wrong, I think I'm really going to like it here at my new job. But my first day here they gave me an empty desk and a phone book and said, "If there's stuff you need to take care of with your apartment or something, that'd be ok." And that was day one. The office people used me for a little bit of translation, but so far that's about all I've done.
I just finally got a computer today.
But, I'm not unhappy. I think once they really start using me I'll fit in fine and do a good job. I love my house and new appliances, and I'm only about 5 min from work. I'll try and have pictures of the house & such up once I get internet at home.
