I finished decoupaging my coffee table! It looks pretty awesome, though I did not judge the height of the legs so well, it's a little tall for a coffee table to be honest. I may have to take those legs off and get different ones at some point, but for now I don't care. I'm finally finished! I covered the top in pages from a 1904 book called 'Beverly of Graustark' which is basically 'Prisoner of Zenda' fanfiction. Full of princes disguised as brigands and American heiresses disguised as princesses.

Here are pics...and for those of you who don't care.....they have Roxy in them. C'mon, everyone loves the cat pictures.

It looks so good! And I love how Roxy's all, "Yes, this will do. Excellent work, my human."

Thank you! Mostly at the time she was extremely pissed because I was spending hours in the craft room, where the door stays closed.

Thank you! I might try and take better pictures today when it's light out and get a close up or two. The book is insanely melodramatic, which I think makes for a fun centerpiece.

Oh gosh, that did come out awesome! (And Roxy as supervisor, is too cute.) Was this the reason she was banished from the other room?

Thank you! I'm pretty happy with it.

Yeah, somehow I didn't think cat & decoupage glue went together very well. Plus I have so many ribbons and sparkles and glue and paint in the craft room that she's just locked out on general principal.

Oh wow. The table came out looking really nice. I love Roxy's expression in the first picture. "What are you doing Mommy?" Given that she is perched on the table, I can understand why you locked her out while working on it.

Thanks! Yeah, paper table = cool, furry table = not cool. As Dimitri Martin says, Leather Jacket cool, Leather Vest, not cool. It's all in the sleeves.

a cat in her natural habitat. In the middle of a craft project. Good thing you have a craft room, otherwise there'd be pawprints all over that sucker :-D

I love the literary table! That's bad ass. There's a resteraunt around here somewhere that walpapered it's bathrooms with recepies from like... old Joy of cooking's. It looked grand.

Thanks! I like the idea of the cookbook pages, that's neat. The table was really easy, honestly. I tore out the pages, trimmed the edges with a paper cutter, glued them down with mod podge and then put more mod podge on top.

Pretty! And I like the shape of the legs. And the cat, well, she has to supervise, right?
