kaitouWhen I woke up this morning I found that my landlord/his subcontractor had actually plowed my drive! YAY! ....of course I spent an hour in the afternoon shoveling it beforehand.... But it was still pretty necessary because of the packed snow left from driving over the last snowfall and people who do u-turns in my driveway. I couldn't get those up with a shovel at all. And that's the part my car tends to get stuck on when I try to pull into the garage. It was still a very happy thing to see a nice plowed driveway.
I've finished the first half of the purse I'm knitting. It turned out pretty well, I think. This was a step up from scarves, increasing and decreasing and knitting off of two balls of yarn at once... Pretty cool. I'm really happy with the book I got (Chicks with Sticks), I think they really planned out the projects and techniques well. Each project builds off the last one. (Last time you increased stitches, this time you increase and decrease them) It all gets harder, but in a way that's pretty easy to keep up with.
Tonight I really must buckle down and clean house before I go visit the Mews.
