I love my life, that's why I decorate it!

Yesterday I went to a 12 hour scrapbooking night with a friend of my mom. I was really impressed with how clever the scrapbooking store was about it. You paid $30, which got you a table, access to die cut machines, food and drinks. But that was only $15 worth. The other $15 was in store credit to be used up during the night. And then they had different sales going on throughout the night...packs of paper on sale from 3:00 to 5:00, rub ons from 5:00 to 7:00. ect. ect. It was VERY effective. The lady I was with must have spent at least $60 beyond her original 15. I, knowing that I have to pay rent and I don't get paid until Friday was VERY good. In the end, I spent only 41 cents extra, and then I found a quarter on the floor.

But enough about my frugality! It was really nice to have people around to laugh and joke with, no distractions from working on the scrapbook, and anytime I needed another sheet of paper of a certain color or something...I could just go get it. I got a lot more done than I thought I would. For now I'm using a lot of the BasicGrey Blush papers. I'm going to try and post some pictures of the pages I've done later this week.

I can't wait until the next scrapbook night!
