Meme Wagon
Jun. 15th, 2007 10:34 amI have been feeling like getting in on a good meme lately, but they seem to be a little thin on the ground and thin in the air. But today I saw a wagon that both
soranokumo and
thorne_scratch have jumped on, so hey, I'm game!
Tell me a character, I'll tell you a couple things from my personal canon about them.*
In other news last night I watched the first Rhythm and Police movie over again. So Happy! Aoshima, Muroi and Sumire make me so happy. Aoshima and Muroi because they're my OTP, and Sumire because I want to be her when I grow up. I wish that it were a more popular dorama among the geeks, because it is such love. I wish that there was some way to remake it in America ala The Office and Ugly Betty. I think at least part of the appeal of Phoenix Wright for me is that...except for the funny clothes and teenage sidekicks...it could be a spinoff of the show.
flidgetjerome, can't you just see Mike Meekins working at the Wangan station??
I should stop babbling and get back to work. I have no motivation today whatsoever.
*Please don't ask about FFVII characters because my personal canon consists only of the words 'Yes' and 'Ok.'

Date: 2007-06-15 03:46 pm (UTC)I thought about doing the dead RPF and asking about William Shakespear, but I thought you'd find that creepy. Heh.

Date: 2007-06-15 04:53 pm (UTC)As for Sirius Black, it is my deep dark secret that I really think he's kind of a prick. Despite being locked up for years and years in Azkaban, I don't think he really grew all that much as a person from the dangerous-joke playing kid he was. (Maybe it was because he spent the whole time as a dog, I don't know) And I wasn't all that crushed that he died.
Don't kill me!

Date: 2007-06-15 04:28 pm (UTC)(I am having the hardest time remembering how they actually romanized his name and am just going by how I remember Ahiru saying it in my head. My apologies!)

Date: 2007-06-15 06:00 pm (UTC)Arsene Lupin, I think. You're the one who got me into that fandom.

Date: 2007-06-18 02:55 pm (UTC)Hm. I don't know that I really have much of a personal canon for the original Lupin. I think he's mostly arrogance and pride all wrapped together in a delicious package. If he want's to feel anything else, well, all he has to do is put on a new disguise and be someone else for a day.
