I'd really wanted to write a whiny post about how harsh work has been lately, how hard I'm working and how much I hate idiotic co-workers. But instead I'm asking for you to give your thoughts and prayers to two of my non-idiotic coworkers. Last Tuesday my boss's brother was killed in an accident in Japan. I still don't know any details, and don't expect to find out, really. It's got to be a horrible blow to him, especially coming only two weeks before he was supposed to be back in Japan permanently.

And today I found out that the younger brother of another of my coworkers has been missing since Thursday. And I can't even begin to wrap my mind around it. So far it seems that he simply disappeared on his way to class, and no one knows anything. This is the second missing person at OSU in as many months.

So please send all your good thoughts and luck out this way, we could sure use them.
