People who fall for Nigerian bank scams make the Baby Jesus Cry.  And make me want to scream!  How stupid can you be??

Chris was looking up the Cote d'Ivoire this morning because one of the women on his line has been communicating with a woman from the Ivory Coast who's looking for someone to give all her money to.  Yeah, right.  I really don't understand how anyone can fall for this!  And when started to tell Chris about 419 scams no one in the office had even heard of them!  Luckily one woman came in who's ex-husband lost nine grand to one to corraborate my story.  I still don't know if the woman in question will believe me.  

The e-mail didn't even make any sense!!  First it says that the con-artist's husband died after a short illness.  Then later in the same letter it says that she wants to give her money to a good Christian church, or person.  She doesn't have any family, and she doesn't want her husband's family to get it because they are non-Christian bad people who killed her husband.  WHA?  And she's still buying the scam!?

The whole thing gets me almost as riled as 102 Dalmations~!

I always assumed that, theoretically, there were plenty of people out there that fell for those, since there had to be a reason the scammers kept going.

But wow, actual proof.
