kaitouWell, yesterday I succeeded in making my boss scared of me. That was kind of interesting.
Sorry for the meatworld ramble, but you need a little backround to get to the funny. The customer called because there are these parts that had a big steel splinter on them, and that's obviously bad. My boss told me it had to do with the material, and so I told the customer that. the customer disagreed...loudly. So I ask the plant manager who agrees that it's no big deal. The customer again disagrees. I come to find out that the parts have always been bad and that the operator usually just snaps the splinter off before assembling. And I was pissed off because no one bothered to ask about it and just assumed the reason for the problem. And I was also pissed off because they left me to handle a phone conference with 8 angry customers in two different states alone to apologize. So, yeah, not really in a good mood.
Later...
Me: WHY didn't you know about problem? Why didn't you ask?
Boss: Nande darouuu? (I wonder whyyyy? Accompanied by the little nande darou dance)
Me: Nande darou ja NAI! (I wonder why is NOT acceptable!!)
Boss: Uuuahhhh! Ann-chan kowa!! (Woooahh! Ann is scary!!)
It was a very Lucrezia Mongfish moment. (Speaking of, have you READ today's Girl Genius?? Is Agatha CRAZY!?) It's good to know that I can terrify my own boss like a minion, but I probably ought not to do it very often.
