Dorky Craft Club

So last night I went to my first meeting of the 'Dorky Craft Club' (not an insult, that's the name of the thing) and had oodles of fun. The crafts were not as dorky as I would have hoped, honestly...No Gundam Tea Towels being embroidered or anything. And most of the women there were older than I was, including one grandmother, so at first I was a little worried. But then about ten minutes into it, the grandfather showed up with some 'finger protectors' for the grandmother that really looked like little.....well the grandmother looked at the box for a moment and said, "These look like condoms for midgets!!" So I knew that the group was going to be fun.

And it totally was. Yaaay! Ann is getting a social life!
(The downside of this is that I hardly got a THING done on my nano. Really hard to write touching grieving scenes when you're howling with laughter)
