And the crowd goes wild!!
Oct. 9th, 2005 10:08 pmWell, I've decided to go with the end of Penny. Or, as we shall call it, Volume Two 'In for a Pound.' It's like a sequel only not.
So today I went over to the local Borders cafe and got an excellent Hazelnut coffee and met with the Dayton Writer's Guild, who are a bunch of whacky SF&F writers around my age and we all shared our story ideas and past Nano experiences. I had to plug my ears a little to avoid Serenity spoilers, but it was worth it. I am so Geeked now! Bring November On, Baby! They meet every Sunday, all year 'round, so there should be plenty of writing peer-pressure and encouragement.
And I leave you, Chaucer. Because Chaucer in 'A Knight's Tale' is the epitome of writer.

Date: 2005-10-10 02:27 am (UTC)I am glad you found a good writing club. I should look for one around here. I just fear I'll end up as the lone voice of nonsense in a sea of realistic narratives.

Date: 2005-10-10 02:55 am (UTC)He was such a good historically-inaccurate Chaucer. I have the feeling that the real Chaucer would be pleased. XD
