Fun Fun Silly Willy
Nov. 4th, 2004 04:31 pmMy friend's page is almost a solid mass of doom and gloom (deservedly so, but still). So I'm bringing a few fun links I've found to brighten your day.
What Tree are You?
According to this Astrology, I am a Maple tree. To keep with the feng shui theme we also have Your car color based on your kua number. I'm light green. This may explain why I am so head over heels for the sage green PT Cruiser I saw at the Saturn Dealership. I loved it much, much more than the red one at the other dealership which was slightly cheaper and had a CD Player. I need a job because I need this car.
Here's a funny article about being a war correspondant I found doing research for my Nano book. It's all about the things you'll need to carry with you, and was written in 1905. To quote "In the list I have included a revolver, following out the old saying that "You may not need it for a long time, but when you do need it, you want it damned quick." ... The number of cartridges I have limited to six, on the theory that if in six shots you haven't hit the other fellow, he will have hit you, and you will not require another six."
You can find about 60 mp3's from Fraggle Rock here. Beware of "Pukka Squeetily Boink." It WILL invade your brains. I do reccomend "Music Makes Us Real" and "Follow Me," the latter especially because I love Uncle Travelling Matt.
And last but not least, Stargate Jigsaw Puzzles. If you click on the 'shapes' button you can change how many and what style of pieces you use to make it easier or harder.
So that's it for now. Enjoy! I will go back to my sadly behind nanobook.
