Okay, I have no clue about the movie, I just know the books. Let's hear what you have to say about Watson. XD

Not a bad day...just my only Holmes-ish icon.

1. That Watson had a child with Mary during the hiatus, but that it died as well.

2. He has a list of all the little everyday trivia that Holmes doesn't know, and he can use it to cheer himself up when he's had a bad day.

3. Scotland Yard appreciates Mr. Holmes, but they have made Dr. Watson an unofficial member, and take good care of him during the hiatus.

4. Holmes always assumed he was (reasonably) intelligent and capable...and that he didn't need coddling. That meant everything back to Watson when he was finding his footing in England again.
