What a weekend!

First up! Many happy returns to ouri!! It was incredibly good to see you yesterday. I wish I'd known it was your birthday, but I'm glad I at least got to sneak the breakfast in.

Second up! Ugh, my back! It's threatening to go out again. But I'm a little wiser this time, so I went to the urgent care BEFORE full on spasms. (I was kind of terrified of being stuck at a truck stop in West Virginia without being able to walk or drive) I told the doctor what worked last summer, and he gave me more of it. So I made it home, and my back still feels bad...stiff and tight and a little sore, but I still have good motion, and I don't think it will GET bad.

Third up! The rest of thehouseofmews. Lovely and fun as always. Lots of good food, good talk, comics and video games were had. soranokumo has come close to selling me on a mac for my next laptop.

Fourth up! Books! Comic Books! Yarn! Books about Yarn! In other words, I may have spent too much money this weekend. But, I now have the Avatar cartoon artbook, the second trade paperback of Atomic Robo.

Fifth up! BIG STORM! I had to spend about a half hour sitting in my car at a gas station parking lot waiting for the rain to ease up enough that I could at least see the road. But once it was past, it was rainbows for a solid 15 minutes. So that was good.

Ok, I go fall over now. *hugs to all*

It was ossim beyond ossim to see you, and I'm glad you got to so many cool places this weekend. And plans! For the future! Are in motion! :D

And you saw rainbows. Fifteen minutes of rainbows! ♥ ♥ ♥ That is just freakin' awesome and tempts me to stay up late to see if I can catch a rare-but-entirely-possible (while the moon is this close to full) moonbow after the storm passes here.

...Maaybe not. Rissi would kill have words with me. Eh heh.

I have to admit, I probably should have been trying harder to sell a Mac, but I also respect the fact that you are a fully competent and computer-literate person and should be able to make your own decision!

...that said, I do hope you get a Mac, too. XD
