Feb. 22nd, 2008 09:04 amI love google's customizable homepage. I can go, 'I don't need stock market stuff, I don't want Britanny updates.' And instead I go and fill it with quotes, gmail, snopes and lots of history/archeology links.
And then they went and introduced their little themes you can have, and....it's addicting!! The one I have up now is a watercolor-y Hong Kong skyline. And when I come in in the morning, dawn is just breaking across the city, and as the day goes on the sky brightens until the sun starts to set. I don't know if it does weather or not. I hope so, but I'm thinking maybe not. I know there's one with little cartoon people at a bus stop, and the weather will reflect whatever your weather is. And then there's one with a cartoon fox in a Japanese home, and you can watch him go about his day. It's addictive like the Sims or my old Pocket Pikachu.
Do you get easily mesmerized like me?
