So there is no bicycle in my future after all.
Why you ask?
Because I went to Walmart and got my oil changed. And while I was waiting, I wandered over to electronics. And they had ONE WII IN STOCK. After a quick consult with my mom, I went ahead and bought it. "Do they have a Fit?" she asked.

"No," I said sadly.

"Becky says they sometimes have them at K-Mart." She replied.

So off to K-Mart I went where they had ONE WII FIT IN STOCK!

I am made of gloat. I think I scared both clerks by some truly anime-worthy cackling.

Much cooler than a bicycle, anyway. And less likely to get you harassed by your coworkers. ^_^

I think that may be debatable. And the bike I had my eye on was pretty cool... http://www.electrabike.com/amsterdam/

But I think I will get more fun out of this. ^^

Man, look at all that chrome! That, friends, is the Cadillac of bicycles.

Aren't they spiffy?

Man. The wii is a good workout. I am tired. It's awesome.

Totally!!
The lady at K-mart was telling me how they got 4 in yesterday. But she can only fit 2 in the case. She forgot to tell the girl who relieved her that there were more in the back. So when she got back to work today, there were still two in stock. And by the time I got there, one. \o/ I am made of lucky today.

Welcome to the world of Wii ownership.

The Wii fit is FANTASTIC. I've actually lost some weight using it regularly and the games are fun enough that it doesn't feel like I'm working out (a plus)

I know some people will say "Hell no" but a game rec for you: Zelda: Twilight Princess. There really aren't that many good RPG's out for the Wii, and I don't see that changing, but the fact taht you're swinging your Wiimote like a sword for hours on end hacking and slashing, as well as the strategy makes up for the occasionally plot-holey story.

Go forth and create Mii's!

I am quite pleased with my Mii. When I get it hooked up to the internet somehow we will have to share friend codes, or however it is that you do that.

Right now I don't have any actual games, just the stuff that comes with the equipment...the sports that came with the wii, the exercise with the fit...and then I got the 'Link's Crossbow Training' that came with the rifle/crossbow adapter thing. (Mom played it at a friends house and looved it, so it's primarily for her. Tennis she's not so interested in...killing zombies? OH YEAH)

I'll have to start looking into must-play games. I will probably end up getting Lego Indiana Jones and Okami if nothing else.
