There is nothing scarier than an insect with a strategy. I killed a mother and her brood two years ago, and last year we had no spiders in the house. It was amazing.
Little did I know she must have had another brood elsewhere, because our house was infested with them recently. I spent an hour with a fly swatter going around the house. It's been awhile since I've seen anymore but I can feel them out there plotting.
In fact, I think that THEY are the ones who stole my car keys.
