Fame and....no fortune.
Jan. 19th, 2004 02:52 pmI'm bored, so I thought I'd write a post up, but I really wasn't sure what on earth to write about. Luckily at that moment one of the people at the town hall brought me a newspaper that I happened to be in. I swear to God I don't even remember anyone taking my picture.
See, on Saturday there was an English camp in Hamada, and I like to go to those where I get to do more creative English games and meet new kids and talk to other ALT's. Mostly the latter. But they wrote up a little article about it in the newspaper and have a picture of me and another ALT...Cleve I think, playing Newspaper Flash where I said a word and the kids tried to find it in a pile of newspapers.
I've come a long way from the days in elementary school when my mom swore she saw the back of my head in a newspaper photo of Sandra Day O'Connor's family at my school.
