Warning, girly post! All those not wanting to read about girly things, retreat now.
It's time for the semi-annual buying of the clothes, which, I think is probably more dangerous overall than the running of the bulls. It's a slow and ongoing process, but I think I'm doing well. I found a shirt at Macy's that was supposed to be $40 for only $12, and I look really awesome in it. On the other hand, it is also meant for spring, and it is cold today, and really not warm enough. Foiled!
I bought a pair of jeans yesterday. This doesn't sound like a big accomplishment, but there were two marvelous things about these jeans. One is that they don't have a giant gape between my waist and my waistband. I hate that I can't wear any short shirts or things tucked in because there will be this giant gape that must be cinched closed with a belt in an unflattering 'curtains pushed back on the curtain rod' sort of way. But even more important than that marvelous thing was the fact that these jeans...were a size smaller!! *dances*
