Random things
Jan. 8th, 2007 09:50 amWell, I was sad that I couldn't make the latest Great Conjuction Junction and meet up with
eramundo,
twigcollins, and
flidgetjerome. But to make up for it, I ended up getting together with an old friend from High School and her boyfriend. We had a lot of fun, a lot more than I expected to. There have been times that I felt like we grew into really different people, but that didn't seem to be an issue during this visit.
We went and saw Stranger than Fiction, which was just as lovely the second time. I think I'll need to get it on DVD as soon as it comes out. It makes me want to read Karen Eiffel's book...which of course doesn't exist. I love many more things about it, but I won't bore you with details.
I'm really addicted to Clubhouse Games on my DS. I can't stop playing Majong Solitaire. It has superceded more important things like my writing and playing FFXII.
I am also addicted to The Dog Whisperer. Cesar Millan is completely charming, and I think pretty much everything he says about dogs applies to people. I usually want to use the advice for dogs as management advise...calm, assertive energy and all that. Although I have to admit that I'd like to grab some employees by the neck, make them lay down until their limbs relax and they are in a calm submissive state.
