Wag of the Finger

If I were Stephen Colbert I'd be giving George Lucas a serious 'Wag of the Finger' for the Young Indiana Jones DVDs. I mean, dude, $90 for 7 episodes? I know that they are so chockablock full of mini-documentaries that I drool just thinking about it. But that is way out of my price range. And, from what I gather, these have been re-edited. Each 40 min episode turning into an hour and a half mini-movie. This sounds excellent in theory. But really you're just merging two episodes together in order to do it. And I do not trust him not to mess with the original goodness.

I wish he'd put all that energy into creating NEW franchises instead of poking the others like a gorilla with a kitten. I have my fingers crossed that Indy's not a cabbage.
