it's almost... I could see making patches of these and then sewing all the edges together would make a really cool throw-blanket or incredibly nerdy baby-blanket.

.........You know! It would be easy to do! And why stop there? combine those with the daleks, and the many other geek patterns for washcloths....it could be the ultimate geek blankie!

what's sick is I could see it selling like hotcakes on think-geek or something. :-D

That is IT I am totally learning knitting. Big projects scare me (A WHOLE BLANKET WHAT) but lots of little washcloths -- possibly bordered by a scarf or two?

Completely doable. It'll only take me... oh, let's say 5 years*. ♥

*I like to estimate using Scotty time. ;)

Actually, I don't see why not. Someone I know is making an afghan/blanket out of crocheted granny squares in Ann McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern dragon colors around a knitted dragon piece that was originally designed for a washcloth.

I mentioned this to my mom and all she said was, "Well, you better not put in the red one."

Yes, I suspect it would not last either. But you could probably get away with red if you were thinking really hard about doing a Star Trek: TNG blanket while knitting them, since the command staff wore red uniforms. LOL!

BTW, I found a picture of a Klingon trefoil washcloth by someone on Ravelry but she never uploaded her pattern.

sw33t. I especially love how you displayed your ribbon scarf. That is amazing. XD

I don't always comment on all of them, but I love all your knitting project pics. Fantastic~
